Bio

Beth is a registered nurse with thirty years of experience as a clinician, educator, and administrator in geriatric and hospice nursing. When her youngest of three children started high school, she pursued creative writing from the Long Ridge Writers Group, completing the short story and novel programs. After her eldest son died by suicide in 2011, she wrote the highly recommended memoir: FIND GREGORY ST. AMAND: What Happened to my son? Late last year, she stepped down from a director of health services position to write a novel. Beth also speaks to groups about suicide and works part-time as a geriatric and hospice nurse. She lives in Kansas with her husband.
