Beth has thirty years of experience as a registered nurse, serving as a clinician, educator, and administrator in geriatric and hospice nursing. When her youngest of three children started high school, she pursued creative writing from the Long Ridge Writers Group, completing the short story and novel programs. After her eldest son died by suicide in 2011, she wrote the highly recommended memoir: FIND GREGORY ST. AMAND: What Happened to my son? Recently, she stepped down from an administrative nursing position to write a novel. Beth also speaks to groups about suicide and works part-time as a geriatric and hospice nurse. Born and raised in Louisiana, she currently lives in Kansas with her husband.
